I like the pollen-filled abdominal "basket". Presumably a Megachile species, looking at images from Insects of Cedar Creek. This is a female, judging by the abdominal structure. (See comment below.)

The flowers are Crownbeard, Verbesina occidentalis.

Only female Megachile has the jbsc (=jelly belly scopa).
