Unidentified Spider - Araneus marmoreus
Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA

Size: 1/2 inch
This spider constructed a wonderful giant web in a door opening. It sat in the middle and waited for something to catch up in the web.
I disturbed the creature, and it took off up into the door jamb. Here are a few images of this amazingly, beautifully colored spider.
Need ID help Please.
