Fly - Anthomyia

Fly - Anthomyia
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
March 29, 2007

Moved
Moved from Root-Maggot Flies.

I've had other images ID'd as Anthomyia.

Anthomyiidae: probably Anthom
Anthomyiidae: probably Anthomyia... though I don't know this group well enough to give any certainty

Addendum: there is a picture of Heliomyzidae: Hylemya in the Kaufman Guide that looks similar to this specimen as well... I still lean towards Anthomyia on this, but with less than 100% certainty

Thanks
Thanks for the ID.
