Millipede in Maryland - Ptyoiulus - Male

Size: ~ 20-25 mm
This millipede was crawling on a cement patio at a lake in central Maryland. The weather was unusually warm, and this individual had found a spot in the sun and out of the wind.

A representative of the nativ
A representative of the native North American family Parajulidae (order Julida). I think it is a male belonging to the genus Ptyoiulus.
