Doesn't look explanate enough to be a Lobiopa (could just be the angle at which it was photographed), but I cant wrap my mind around it for the moment. I want to place it in the Carpophilinae but not confident. Hope Gareth sees it.

Moved from ID Request.

Cryptarcha
I must admit it took me a second to know what I was looking at with the angle and the extended head...but this is either C. gila or C. concinna (thoughts confirmed by Andy Cline as well). With a good ventral shot showing the prosternal process a species name is possible but otherwise I would leave it at the genus level.

Thanks!
Thanks! I'll see if I can hunt down another for a ventral shot.

Sap feeding
It looks like a sap-feeding beetle in the Genus Lobiopa
