Either Argia nahuana or A. ag
Either Aztec Dancer (Argia nahuana) or California Dancer (A. agrioides). Both occur in the area and are very similar. Dan, sometimes these two species don't show much of a fork in the humeral stripe, but the abdomen pattern is very distinctive for the species pair. Often takes in-hand examination to separate these two, but I'll see if I can get some west coast forks to look at this.

Yep, it's one of those
If I could see some lighter brown veins in the wings, I'd be okay calling it nahuana, but the veins look uniformly dark which means that it could be either one. Without a good view of the tori (just about impossible from a mostly side view), I wouldn't get any more specific than agrioides/nahuana.

Male Argia Dancer
Not familiar with the southwest varieties. Looks like Comanche or Springwater. Hope someone from the region will take a look.
