Ground Sac Spider
I would suspect that this is a Trachelas spp. spider, in the family of Antmimics and Ground Sac Spiders (Corinnidae), rather than a Gnaphosid. :)

Be aware, these spiders have an unpleasant bite (worse than a bee sting). Remove the spiders (via a cup), and they will wander off. They are wandering hunters, and won't intentionally return (unless their prey happens to wander into your home).

This would make sense...
There are (a lot of) little sacs of webbing along the corner of the sky light area where the walls meet. Unfortunately it is about 20 feet above the floor so it will be difficult to clean out.

Thanks for the info!

Maybe
Might be a ground spider (Gnaphosidae)...
