Hanover, Jo Daviess County, Illinois, USA
August 2, 2014
Collected with pitfall and carrion traps at a restored prairie. This is a common species in my samples. MND states this is a Palaeartic species that has established itself here.

Some important features for the identification are the post-alar wall with hairs, frontal bristles divergent anteriorly, genal hairs in single row, costal spine, black terminalia, and bare R1.
