Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA

Is this Andrallus sp.? I notice that we are severely lacking in info and photographs for the genus.

please fill the location and date fields
once it's done, i'll ask our expert to take a look and comment

We already know it's central
We already know it's central Florida, and we can reasonably assume the photograph was taken within the past few years. To get more specific information, it's up to the photographer to log into reddit (which does not send email notifications) and notice my private message to him, and then for him to decide to share that information. It would be a shame to not get an expert to take a look at this potentially valuable photograph over more specific information.

If the photographer ever provides more information, I'll share it here. Until then, this is all outside my control.

Woohoo!
The photographer just provided me with all the info we need. Let me know if there's still anything missing.

awesome -- thank you so much

Guide Page
I corrected the broken Fact Sheet link on the Andrallus spinidens guide page, which has a complete description.

I realize you have posted someone else's picture with permission but you MUST fill in the copyright field with the name of the person who took the picture.

Yeah, I've already asked the
Yeah, I've already asked the photographer for his name. I don't even know if he is comfortable sharing his name, but he wants me to share his photo here. I provided the link to the page where we can contact the photographer for copyright reasons (not sure why we would since he already gave me permission).

If he's okay with publicizing his name, I'll add it.

copyright
currently the copyright is in your name and that is wrong and one has to go to the link to find out the picture isn't yours. Bugguide protects copyright. Pictures not attributed correctly get removed.

Noted.
Okay, I've updated the owner of the image to the photographer's username, earnstaf. He's not online everyday, so whenever he gets back to me with his full name, I'll make another update.

Eric Arnst ?
The screen name "earnstaf" belongs to an Eric Arnst of Montgomery, Alabama

I changed the copyright on the other image...
