Size: ~14 mm
Question our ID
I sent images to the Government of Saskatchewan Forestry people in my area, email reply,
"We do have a couple of native species of Tetropium (T. cinnamopterum and T. parvulum (both of which colonize old spruce). "
I found this resource Genus Tetropium
The small raised bump on the pronotum (centre back) may be a distinguishing feature of
T. cinnamopterum?
