Size: 0.5mm
Well, I don't know if it is identifiable, but here goes. It was under a board in the garden, in contact with the soil, and amongst some Isop*ods. It was smaller than the usual Glob*ular Sprin*gtai*ls I photograph, and to my eye, it was dark brown, not purplish, like in the photo. (I have pretty bad eyesight, though).
On looking through the mite section, I came up with this one:
