It also resembles some of the darker images of the Checkered Apogeshna - Hodges#5177 (Apogeshna stenialis)


The ID features given on the Info page, such as the hollow oval spot in the Median area and the other descending from the AM line plus relatively straight PM line reaching the anal angle, agree with A. stenialis.
