This is likely Panorpa specio
This is likely Panorpa speciosa, P. bifida, or P. anomala based on the presence of the two submarginal spots and the locality. Examination of the male genital bulb under a microscope would be needed for species determination. Panorpa anomala lacks a aedeagal hamulus. Panorpa bifida and P. speciosa are members of the same species group. The ventral paramere of P. bifida has two LONG branches, with one branch projecting out of the benital bulb. The ventral paramere of P. speciosa also has two branches, but one is shorter than the other and niether project out of the genital bulb. Panorpa bifida was thought to be an endemic of western PA, but there seems to be a population in AL and SW TN.
