any time, mon ami; cool series!
was stunned by the "~12.25 mm" thing... makes me suspect that you routinely measure bugs with the accuracy of 0.001 mm (size of a bacterium)

 
Just got....
A digital caliper which does get it down to 0.01 mm quite well setting it thru the view of a stereoscope.
