P. longicornis? - Paratrechina longicornis
Prairie View A&M University, Waller County, Texas, USA
November 26, 2014
Size: ~4mm
Prompted by childhood memories(late 2000's) of these insane crazy ant invasions, I scoured the campus and found a large concentration of these fast moving ants.
I have also found these at the Walmart (by the fire exit in the fishing aisle) in Cypress TX, Harris County, but no pictures.

Moved
Nice picture, showing the bluish iridescence.

Moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request.
Must be it. The general habitus and bluish reflections show up nicely. But wait for an expert.
