Moved
Moved from Moths.

Haven't seen one here -
but I'm looking out for one. This seems to me to be a Pygmy Paectes 8957 Paectes pygmaea.

moth
I seem to remember that this moth was a bit larger than the Paectes pygmaea but I could be wrong. First one I've ever seen. It was hiding in a dark corner of the deck and I moved it to another area to photograph the moth but this was just when I was putting stuff away for the night so the lighting wasn't the best. The wing pattern does seem to be right for P. pygmaea. It's always surprising to see what shows up at night. I never expected to see one of these.

Not Pygmy
You are right - P. pygmaea not likely. I looked at it again and at my A. abrostoloides photos and those in BG, and I consulted BG's Info; forewing has no white fringe and double PM line actually has two arcs. As to the upward bend of the PM line, on Large Paectes' forewings only the upper PM line is supposed to do so, but the upward portion of the line looks like being double on several of my photos and of the BG posts.
