Size: about 8 mm
on wall of building at night, the only shot I got

seems to have 6 legs up front, and another protruding out back; I'm stumped

very cool, this looks to be a
very cool, this looks to be an embiopteran... webspinner... sadly, not something we have here in Iowa... the enlarged protatrsi is the character to look for

Addendum: the ordinal name is Embiidina on bugguide... also, the species choices would be the following (based on range)Oligembia hubbardi & Diradius vandykei in Teratembiidae or Oligotoma saundersii in Oligotomidae... the difference between the families is whether the MA vein is forked... which I cannot tell from the pic...

Yes, I see now the enlarged protarsi.

There are a number of webspinner images from the southwest but none from Florida, so even though it's a poor photo I moved it to the Guide from ID Request.
