A Roadside Sallow Moth - Hod
A Roadside Sallow Moth - Hodges#9944 (Metaxaglaea viatica) I believe:


The dark spot in the inner half of the reniform spot plus the teeth of the PM line forming a row of dark dots are two features of this species. They are late-flying moths.

 
Which...
if correct, would make it a first for Canada, apparently (neither BG nor MPG show records there). I'll move this one and the photographer's other similar beast into sallows and let an expert play with them.
