Globular Springtail - Dicyrtomina ornata

Globular Springtail - Dicyrtomina ornata
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
April 14, 2007
Size: 1.5mm
I found this very dark Springtail under a board in the garden. (next to it is one of those shiny mites I posted a week or so ago). I think it's D. ornata, but because it's so dark, I'm not sure.

Moved
Moved from Dicyrtomina.

Dicyrtomina cf. ornata
Indeed. The typical rectangular dark patch at its butt can be seen clearly.
