small Bee ? - Brachymeria
Skull Valley, ca 10 mi West of Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
January 14, 2014
Size: 7-8mm
Brought to me from neighbor's house. He'd seen 2 live ones 2 weeks ago. Very mild winter to date. Will try for live specimens- interested in leg configurations, hard to clarify in this specimen. Some yellow on legs & at base of wing. Observed some green reflections when examined in full sunlight, black pebbly dorsal surface on thorax.
