Found on Paper Birch, where I've found others
The thing about this photo, is the tiny flying insect in the upper right of the photo. When I first noticed it, it was on the lower part of the scale insect (drinking honeydew? parasitizing? perhaps a male?). Just ignore the big green aphid. ;-)
