Large brown bug found in my home! - Neocurtilla hexadactyla

Large brown bug found in my home! - Neocurtilla hexadactyla
Morgan City, St Mary Parish, Louisiana, USA
January 21, 2015
Found this bug in my living room, near a door that isn't sealed well. It was around 5:30 am. It wasn't walking, rather scurrying across the floor. It's belly? is very low near the ground and I guess it couldn't catch a grip on the floor. Please help me. I have a 1 year old that could have found this before I did!
