Mosquito Larva

Mosquito Larva
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
April 18, 2007
Size: ~ 4 mm
Very, very many in the still, shallow and open water of a seasonal swamp. They tend to hang from or just below the surface, and move by twisting their bodies in a side-to-side, almost zigzag manner. Sean and Omar, hope that's enough info to get some kind of ID...

I want to say Culex, but I would need a lateral shot of the siphon. Or whats even more fun, if you want, you can raise the larva and see what it becomes.
You only got two more stages to go before an adult and all you need is some water with some decaying organic matter in (dead tree leaves already decaying in any body of water are perfect)

Thanks!
I'll try both approaches and see what I can get.
