Adult female crab spider - Xysticus montanensis? - Xysticus montanensis - Female
Sign Hill Park, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, USA
February 28, 2015
Size: 4 mm

The epigynum matches up quite well with X. montanensis, which Schick maps to my area of California. The spermathecae seem to match Schick's drawing pretty well, although they seem a bit different than the illustrations in Dondale and Redner and Paquin and Duperre...

Moved
Moved from Crab Spiders. Thanks John!

I agree, looks like a clear match
Habitus a little different than those posted but maybe this one is a bit teneral?

..
I think the habitus difference is probably because Ken's specimen is a female and all the other posted images (at the moment) are of males. I've noticed that males look different from females in other Xysticus species as well.
