One of the biggest problem in los Angeles around summer you can see fly flying around everywhere, restaurant, Hospital etc .I am not sure about the genus but in my personal opinion is a bronze bottle fly, probably Phaenicia genus, Calliphoridae Family, There is somebody Familiar with Calliphorids. Do you think? I have more pictures with he same white spot. It is possible to see B. bassiana (spores) in alive flies?.

 
Its not
really a spot, but the inflation of the abdomen and its white appearance. This fly is close to death, then you will see the spores. But yeah, this is almost 100% Beauveria bassiana
