Horned Passalus ??? - Odontotaenius disjunctus

Horned Passalus ??? - Odontotaenius disjunctus
Solomons, Calvert County, Maryland, USA
March 7, 2015
Size: 35 mm
Discovered in rotten logs while splitting wood. There were numerous specimens. My best guess is a Horned Passalus (Odontotaenius disjunctus). Appreciate confirmation or alternative suggestions.

Agreed
Agreed, it is a Horned Passalus, Odontotaenius disjunctus.
I often find mites on these.

The only similar one I believe is in Florida.
