Female larger meadow katydid
This is a female larger meadow katydid in the genus Orchelimum (or Orchelium, depending on the authority you consult!). The males of these katydids (many species), sing in daylight from grassblades, deftly dodging behind them as you approach. Peekaboo.

Red-headed Meadow Katydid
This looks like Red-headed Meadow Katydid (Orchelimum erythrocephalum) to me. Based on their distinct coloration, and some structural details.
