Black and white spotted beetle? Death Valley - Cysteodemus armatus
Death Valley National Park, California, USA
March 18, 2015
Size: quarter-ish
Saw this guy (or gal) near the old mill ruins in southern Death Valley. Have tried to identify on the internet but no luck. Was moving very quickly along the ground. Quite large (to me .. I am from Portland!).
