This Image is Properly Identified.
I have made a note under one of the other photos from Door County, Wisconsin, to the effect that the identification is incorrect and the photo should be moved. At the same time I question whether your second image here is of the same moth or the same species. I really can't see it well enough to know what it is, but have a gut feeling something is wrong with it.

Bob. The second image is the same individual as the first. I'll add another image that shows a little of the dorsal forewing. That should making it easier to see.
