I believe that this is an gelechiidae. Nearby possible hosts include Parkinsonia and Funastrum.

Black and white moth
The moth in this very good photo looks like Agavenema barberella (Prodoxidae). The moth in your image is a spot-on match for the one pictured in Davis' 1967 revision (Bull. USNM 255) as Fig. 79 (p. 147), and the geography and observation date are also a match for those presented by Davis (southern Arizona, with adult collection dates of March, May, July, and August). The larval host plant, as reported by Davis, is Agave palmeri.
