for the confirmation. Will leave at genus until a species page for Euzophera ostricolorella (Root Collar Borer Moth - 5997) is up.

 
well...
after creating a species page, I lightened your photo on my hard drive for a better look at the details.

I now think yours looks more like Jim Vargo's photo of E. semifuneralis than ostricolorella. Compare both species here. Root Collar Borer has more reddish color beyond the PM line, and lacks a subterminal line, whereas American Plum Borer has more pale gray/whitish color beyond the PM line, and appears to have a diffuse subterminal line - as in your photo. I would have to agree. I've started routinely lightening my images prior to upload so we shouldn't have to run into this more than a couple hundred more times this year. :(
