Lyctus? - Bothrideres geminatus

Size: 4.5mm
Found under bark of dead tree.
I'm not familiar with beetles like this, but I poked around and felt good about genus Lyctus... but the front angles of the pronotum don't match anything I've found.
Size is approximate.

quite unrelated to Lyctus (which is not really subcortical)
lyctines are strictly wood-boring, associated with pretty dry wood; on the other hand, Bothrideres are rather common under bark in much damper situations
