Earwig - Euborellia annulipes

Earwig - Euborellia annulipes

Maritime earwig?
This looks like a female of Anisolabis maritima, the "maritime earwig." Males have asymmetrical abdominal forceps.

I think
after looking around and reading a bit this is the ring-legged earwig, Euborellia annulipes. See this site. I would like to know if the white banded antennae are a distinguishing mark.

Yep.
On closer examination, I agree. Nice catch, Lynette! I am really surprised, though, that we haven't gotten a maritime earwig yet:-(
