Sciarids for Iowa
Ames, Story County, Iowa, USA
Size: 3.5-4.0 mm
I've been waiting for these to emerge for some time now... I collected a few dozen of the larva back in March... appears these are the first sciarids for Iowa... such paltry entomological representation for this state

Worth noting is how un-'dark-winged' this species is
