Bristletail

Bristletail
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
January 12, 2005
Found this in the dogs water bowl, so it was a bit wet. I thought it would be dead, but it was just fine.

Also a bristletail
The humped appearance is one way to tell. Silverfish are relatively flat.

Ahhh
Thanks for that tip....makes it a lot easier for me to ID them. I was trying to do it by comparing tails.
