Flotsam harvesting

Flotsam harvesting
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 20, 2007
This is the spider pooter I made from an emptied spice jar. (Yes, that's right. The spice is sitting on the cupbord shelf in a zip-lock baggie.) Once sucked into the container the spiders are unable to see the escape route. The tubing and threaded fittings I got at Home Depot. I'll post a second how-to series on constructing this handy device.
