Crane Fly feeding

Crane Fly feeding
Henderson, Chester County, Tennessee, USA
April 18, 2015
I didn't take these photos because I was looking for a species ID. I took them to show an adult crane fly feeding because it's a common belief that adults of all species do not feed. I commonly find adults of several species feeding on bait I put out to attract moths. This one is feeding on a mixture of overripe bananas and brown sugar.
