Chimney Bee - Needs Pollen - Diadasia
Tonopah Desert, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
April 4, 2015
This bee is in a Prickly Pear Cactus, Opuntia Engelmannii. This is likely a female Chimney Bee in the Diadasia australis species group. The abdomen seems to have a small puncture hole and she doesn't seem to have much pollen yet.
