Tiny Parasitic Wasps

Tiny Parasitic Wasps
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
April 24, 2015
My daughter found a hairstreak larva with an extra feature attached. I thought they were wasp larvae, so I kept them until they hatched. First picture is to show the host and how the pupae were attached to it.
