This sequence is close ups shots of a deceased female, Green Metallic Sweat Bee, in the Agapostemon genus. She was recovered after an Orb Weaver spider disposed of her.

John, this is very close to the highest magnification that I can get with my camera. The focal depth is shallow and parts of these images are blurry. However, they seem to be a bit more out of focus than they may be, because the surface is actually a bit smoother than expected, from looking at many of the other close up shots of this genus, on the BugGuide. I have added two close crops of the thorax, to help display the character of her surface texture a little better. Please let me know what you think about any image. I value your instruction and I have other things to tell you. Thanks
