Predatory Fungus Gnat - Macrocera - female

Predatory Fungus Gnat - Macrocera - Female
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
May 2, 2015
Size: WS≈11mm
I had 6 Macrocera fungus gnats this night, 4 females and 2 males. I suspect this is also Macrocera formosa, but she does not have the "three spikes" on the outer margin of the wings.

could be a variant or a different species
i'm not sure at the moment
