Large Moth - Hyalophora cecropia

Large Moth - Hyalophora cecropia
Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, USA
September 21, 2005
Size: see relation to cat
There were two of these on my porch. They stayed there for a few days just hanging on the screens.

Cecropia
It's a beautiful cecropia moth. See here for comparison. Hyalophora cecropia. The redness outside of the white line on the hindwings distinguishes this species from the columbia silk moth, from what I have read here.
