Kind of Blue - Cupido amyntula
North of San Simeon, San Luis Obispo County, California, USA

There were many of these blues fluttering around and nectering at patches of the abundant flowers of the backdune...these were concentrating on Astragalus nuttallii var. nuttallii here. My impression is that they were all members of a population of a single species. The posts below are from the same population:
