Pselliopus latifasciatus from NJ, to be confirmed - Pselliopus cinctus

Pselliopus latifasciatus from NJ, to be confirmed - Pselliopus cinctus
Wickecheoke Creek Preserve, near Stockton, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA
May 10, 2015
If this is Pselliopus latifasciatus, then this is maybe the first report of this species from NJ. It is not listed from NJ or PA in Bugguide (Pennsylvania is only a few miles away from this locality, across the Delaware River). The bug was along a sunny creek edge and landed on new sycamore growth, surrounded by a rich, deciduous forest.

I would have guessed p. cinctus...

...but let's see what the experts have to say.

OK! Good.
I am not an expert on any of these, I was just told it was probably that species.
