Fly - Anthomyia

Fly - Anthomyia
Pasadena, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
May 1, 2007
Size: ~6mm
Would this be Antho*myiidae or Scatho*phagidae? Or not enough detail to determine?
If Antho*myiidae, they don't only take nectar as I found this one on a bird dropping.

Anthomyiidae. Lots of insects
Anthomyiidae. Lots of insects will visit feces for salts. Plenty of butterflies have the habit.

Anthomyiidae
Thank you Joe!
