Pollinator... - Cyrtophorus verrucosus

Pollinator... - Cyrtophorus verrucosus
Perth, Drummond, Ontario, Canada
May 17, 2015
Size: <1"
This guy was enjoying the blooms on a Mohican Wayfaring Tree. I had a hard time getting a face shot, windy conditions and it was moving constantly- I hope there's enough detail.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

For beetles the most important shot
is straight down dorsal, not a face shot. While it is good to add lateral and facial images, always try to get that solid dorsal.

I did try...
Unfortunately the dorsal shots that I did get all have exposure problems- the wind and movement of the beetle kept things going from bright sun to shadow so you can't see any details.

Thanks!
Looks like it :)
