Another beauty from the Syrphid king!
Excellent wings, especially considering the white background. Should I ever come across this species this will make identification much easier!

I think edward was puzzling over one of these, too. It moved like Allograpta, but was marked differently than any I'd seen.

After waiting a bit to see if anyone else weighs in, I'll apply for a new guide page.
