Baton Rouge, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA

Found in sunny meadow area.
Rust colored spider guarding nursery.
Webbing making a "tent" of the tops of three plants.
Egg sac in tent.
Cluster of spiderlings below egg sac.
Plants 2-3 feet high.
