Metalmark butterfly - Calephelis perditalis

Metalmark butterfly - Calephelis perditalis
Lake Corpus Christi, San Patricio County, Texas, USA
May 1, 2007
Appears to be of the Genus Calephelis. Is this individual brighter than those of the Round Metalmark, or is this a separate species?

Bright and pretty
While no expert, I believe you're on solid ground with Calephelis. The only species I'm familiar with is C. nemesis, and this isn't it. I do think Rounded is correct, and it's the only other one of this genus listed for your county. (You're familiar with lists from butterfliesandmoths.org, right?)
