White Form Female Orange Sulphur For Illinois In May - Colias eurytheme - Female
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
May 4, 2007
Size: Approx. 2.25 in. wingspan
Data posting for this species in Illinois, for the month of May.

I don't see very many of these at all, so that's why I like to make note of them for the months I do find them flying around.

Very pretty
Never seen an albino before, but now noticed you'd posted one earlier. Do you know if this form is peculiar to Orange Sulphur, or if I might see it on other sulphurs?

Clouded Sulphurs
I posted one of these last year. I guess it's possible that there may be other Sulphurs that can produce white mutations.
